Pastor Ronald Ives

Pastor Ron is the founder and senior pastor of The Potter’s House Family Worship Center. Pastor Ron and his wife Carla, began the church in the summer of 1986. With a heart of love for others, Pastor Ron enjoys connecting and seeing people grow in the knowledge and understanding of God. His heart for people is a trademark of his life. Ron and Carla have three adult children and twenty one grandchildren.

When not at the church Pastor Ron enjoys fishing, reading, sports and time with family and friends. When asked, he may want to tell you about the big fish that got away!

Pastor Carla Ives

Pastor Carla founded The Potter’s House Family Worship Center with her husband in the summer of 1986. She is the heart of the church and her love for this body resinates in all that she does. Her heart to see the best for everyone is truly the hallmark of her life. Carla and Ron have three adult children and twenty one grandchildren.

Spending time with her children and grandchildren brings Pastor Carla great joy. Creating projects, baking cookies and hanging out with the “kids” tops the list of activities away from the church. You’ll hardly ever see Pastor Carla without a little one in her lap.

Pastor Fred Cantu

Pastor Fred Cantu Jr., serves as the Discipleship and Service Support Pastor for the Potters House Family Worship Center. Pastor Fred oversees Wednesday Night Discipleship training (Basic Training) as well as Connection Center Teams, Alter Team, Prophetic as well as Cafe Team. Pastor Fred has a desire to see individuals grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ by offering courses that sets a firm foundation for them to build their life on through the Word of God. Fred is married to Denise and have eight children, 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

When not working at the Church you can find Pastor Fred serving his community on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation as the Fire Chief. Fred along with his wife enjoys ministering the Word of God at various places throughout the United States and Canada.

Pastor Jody Bass

Pastor Jody Bass serves as the Worship Leader for The Potter’s House Family Worship Center. Jody has a pure heart of worship. He desires to seek the Lord and bring Him glory through instrument and song. Pastor Jody loves to worship alongside the body and is open to whatever the Spirit wants to do.

In his free time Jody loves to Frisbee Golf! Pastor Jody is married to Danielle Bass, our Director of Support Staff and Operations. Together they have three adult children. As a family they enjoy playing music, sports, camping and the outdoors.

Ken and Amanda Surline

Ken and Amanda Surline serve as the youth directors of The Potter’s House Family Worship Center. Their hearts are to create opportunities for the youth to experience quality discipleship and Christian friendships. Ken and Amanda provide Biblical teaching and Godly direction. They are the proud parents of 2 awesome boys.

Ken and Amanda love to spend time with their family. You can usually find them sitting on the sidelines watching their children play basketball, soccer, and football! In the summer you will find the Surline's parked on the beach, kayaking, or fishing. The whole family loves the outdoors!

Brindell Brown

Brindell Brown serves as the Children's Ministry Director of The Potter’s House Family Worship Center. She is dedicated to deeply knowing Jesus and teaching children to do the same. Brindell's vision is for every child at the Potter’s House to build a vibrant relationship with God, learning to cultivate a life of prayer and worship. She is committed to discipling the children, helping them understand their true identity in Christ as sons and daughters of the Most High King.

Brindell's initial passion was cosmetology, and she has a strong heart for marketplace ministry. Additionally, she is passionate about dance and pageantry. When music plays, she feels compelled to dance in a way that glorifies God.

Danielle Bass

Danielle is the Operations and Support Staff Director at The Potter’s House Family Worship Center. Danielle is the point person for all office business, financials, church communication, and operations of the building. Danielle is truly a ray of sunshine as people come to the church office. Her smile is contagious! Danielle is married to Worship Director Jody Bass and they are the proud parents of three adult children.

Danielle loves being a mom and spending time with her family. She enjoys cooking, sitting by the water in the sunshine, and connecting with friends.

Ken Surline

Ken serves as the Building & Grounds Supervisor for The Potter’s House Family Worship Center. His genuine care and oversite of the upkeep of the church interior as well as exterior is a blessing to all who come on the church campus. Ken and his wife Amanda are the proud parents of 2 awesome boys.

Ken loves to spend time with his family. You can usually find them sitting on the sidelines watching their children play basketball, soccer, and football! In the summer you will find the Surline's parked on the beach, kayaking, or fishing. The whole family loves the outdoors!

Rachael Marie

Rachael serves as the Administrative Assistant for The Potter's House Family Worship Center.

Rachael's bubbly personality shines through when she answers the phone or greets you in person. Her love for Jesus is evident in all she does.

In her free time, Rachael can be found playing with her daughter and raising her in the way she should go. They enjoy reading, praying, and worshipping together.

James Benson

James serves as contracted custodial care for The Potter's House Family Worship Center. He takes pride in making sure the church is clean and ready for service. James is married to his beautiful bride Tennia, they have 4 adult daughters and 7 grandchildren.

In his free time James loves to travel and cook. You can find many of his culinary creations on social media. He also loves to drum on the worship team.
